Former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Dr. Tunde Lemo has described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a visionary whose life has been defined by courage, strategic leadership, and a strong belief in the nation’s potential.
In a statement made available yesterday, Lemo stated commended Tinubu’s contributions to governance and institution-building.
He said the President’s decades of service have been marked by “purpose, politics with principle, and the development of people and systems”.

He also pointed at the government’s ongoing reform agenda under the “Renewed Hope” vision, which has continued to shape national discourse and inspire a new generation of leaders.
Lemo, a foremost Ogun State Governorship Aspirant, praised the President’s dedication to public service and national development, describing his leadership style as impact-driven rather than title-focused.
“Your Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR — from the streets of Lagos to the seat of the nation, your journey has been defined by courage, strategy, and an unyielding belief in Nigeria’s promise.
“At 74, your legacy of reforms, resilience, and Renewed Hope continues to inspire a generation. Yours has been 74 years of purpose; 74 years of politics with principle, and 74 years of building people, institutions, and a nation. Through all these, you have taught us that leadership is not about titles, but about impact,” Lemo stated.
