Aman, Abdul-Lateef Abayomi Moroof, battling kidney failure since November 2025, is seeking financial assistance from the public for a transplant.
The 44-year-old, a native of Iseyin, Oyo State, is a federal civil servant with the National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Treatment Centre, Zaria, Kaduna State.

According to his elder brother, Dr. Sulaiman Omobayowa Moroof, Abdul-Lateef started experiencing weakness of the body, dizziness, and swollen feet, and went to the hospital for a medical check, where it was discovered that he had a kidney problem.
The family, according to Dr. Moroof had spent a lot of money on Abdul-Lateef's sickness and has no financial capability to pay for his urgent kidney transplant.

According to a medical report issued by the Zenith Medical and Kidney Centre, Abuja, doctors said a sum of N37 million is required to carry out the kidney transplant.
The breakdown of the amount revealed that a sum of N4.9 million is needed for screening, HLA, Crossmatch, and DSA; N22 million is the required amount for kidney transplant, N1.6 million is the cost for kidney plasmapheresis, while N6.3 million is required for post-transplant laboratory investigation for one year, among others.
''He's currently in Lagos for a weekly Dialysis at the Igando General Hospital, Lagos, and we are seeking the support of public-spirited Nigerians to assist us in paying for the kidney transplant,'' Dr. Moroof added.
