Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief of News Central TV, Kayode Akintemi, has been recognised as one of the 100 Most Reputable Africans for 2026, a distinction that underscores his influence and the station’s growing prominence.
The award was presented during a gala ceremony on April 24, at Islington London Borough Council in England.
This accolade celebrates Akintemi’s leadership, ethical journalism and impactful influence on African media storytelling, inspiring pride and respect among the audience.

Akintemi chaired a prominent panel: ‘Sound, Story and Soft Power,’ leading global experts, which underscores his influence and inspires confidence in his leadership among the audience.
