A graduate of the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Dr. Ettu Malik O. has emerged as a standout student among the 32nd set of graduating doctors from Obafemi Awolowo College of Health Sciences, Sagamu, Ogun state, setting a new academic record with an exceptional performance in his medical training.
After the study journey marked by discipline and resilience, the young doctor has completed his MBChB programme, etching his name in the institution’s history books.
Describing the experience as demanding but rewarding, Ettu noted that the journey to becoming a medical doctor involved intense academic rigour and perseverance.
“It was one hell of a ride,” he said in an X post, summing up years of dedication, discipline, and hard work.

Dr. Ettu recorded distinctions in Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Pharmacology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, as well as Internal Medicine.
He ranks as the best academic performer recorded across all 32 sets of medical doctors produced by the college since its inception.
He had an exceptional performance in his secondary school examinations, where he secured eight As and one B in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE),
He also scored 347 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
