Ondo APC Elders Movement for Tinubu has hailed appointment of Mr. Taiwo Oyedele as substantive minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy by President Bola Tinubu.

Coordinator, Agboola Kelly, said the appointment is a strategic move to further strengthen fiscal governance and economic reforms in the country.

“Oyedele is a thoroughbred professional with proven competence and integrity,” he said.

He noted that with this appointment, Ondo State boasts of three substantive ministers in the administration.

“His elevation to minister is a testament to his dedication and the confidence reposed in him by Mr. President,” he added, noting the appointment comes at a time Nigeria needs experienced hands to drive sustainable growth, stabilise the fiscal environment, and implement sound policies..

The movement sais under Oyedele, the ministry will deliver on RHA, particularly in revenue generation, prudent expenditure management, and attracting foreign investments.

Kelly urged stakeholders in financial to support the minister to reposition the nation’s economy for greater productivity and inclusiveness.

The movement also prayed for divine wisdom and strength for the minister as he discharges his duties.
