 A philanthropist, Hamza Faskari, has given Ramadan assistance to orphans, widows, IDPs, youths and community associations in the 11 local governments of Funtua Zone in Katsina State.

Food items worth N60 million, including 400 bags of rice, 500 bags of millet and 300 bags of maize as well as cash of N62 million were given to beneficiaries to enjoy Ramadan.

Faskari, commissioner for Environment, got kudos from residents for actualising Governor Dikko Radda’s plans on environmental programms

At the event in Faskari, Sule said the gesture was to provide succour to beneficiaries.

He called on residents to increase their devotion and worship and ensure sustained prayers for peace and prosperity for Nigeria’s leaders.

Deputy Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Katsina, Bala Musawa, described Faskari as a committed party chieftain who ‘’regularly contribute towards the welfare of party members in the state.’’

He recalled other assistance Faskari has provided to party members and the less privileged every Ramadan and during special occasions.
