The Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce (NACC) will host its 2026 annual Breakfast Roundtable with the theme: “Forecasting the 2026 Economic Horizon for Nigeria,” on Tuesday, February 17, at The Hall, Four Points by Sheraton Hotel, Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The high-level forum is expected to bring together government officials, business leaders, policymakers, investors, and development partners to examine Nigeria’s economic outlook, recent reforms and growth opportunities across key sectors.
The event will be hosted by the NACC National President, Alhaji Sheriff Balogun, while the Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG), Dr. Tayo Aduloju, will deliver the keynote address.
There will also be a special presentation on the economic and commercial outlook between the United States of America (U.S.A.) and Nigeria by the Political and Economic Section Chief at the United States Consulate General in Lagos, Dr. Michael Ervin.
The Chairman of the International Chamber of Commerce, Nigeria, Dr. Raymond Ihyembe, will deliver a goodwill message.
Discussions during the event will focus on macroeconomic stability, inflation management, exchange rate dynamics, fiscal sustainability, job creation and economic diversification, particularly in non-oil sectors, such as agriculture, manufacturing, financial services, telecommunications and the digital economy.
There will also be discussions on the economic and commercial outlook between Nigeria and the U.S.
A distinguished panel comprising representatives of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Dr. Christian Ebeke (Nigeria Country Representative of the International Monetary Fund); Dr. Samer Matta (Senior Economist for Nigeria at the World Bank Group); Prof. Kenneth Ike (the ECOWAS Commission); Jani Ibrahim (National President of NACCIMA); and Dr. Tope Fasua (Special Adviser to the President on Economic Matters), will provide expert insights, with the session moderated by Dr. Adesuwa O. Erediauwa (International Economist, Senior Fellow and Coordinator of the Bashir Adeniyi Centre for International Trade and Investment at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs).

Besides the economic dialogue, NACC will honour renowned filmmaker and media entrepreneur, Femi Odugbemi, with the Creative Industry Excellence Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to African storytelling, film, television, advertising and creative entrepreneurship.
Odugbemi, the Founder and CEO of Zuri24 Media and co-founder of the iREP International Documentary Film Forum, is a multiple award-winning filmmaker and a voting member of both the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. His screen credits include Tinsel, Battleground, Brethren, Covenant, Gidi Blues, and Bariga Boy.
NACC said the award reflects its commitment to celebrating excellence, innovation and leadership that strengthen Nigeria’s economic diversification and global competitiveness.
This year’s annual breakfast roundtable is expected to attract top executives, investors, diplomats and policymakers, reinforcing its position as a leading private-sector dialogue.
