The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has graduated officers from two specialised air power training programmes to strengthen operational planning and intelligence integration across its units.

The participants completed the Air Campaign Planning Course and the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Operations Management Course at the Air Warfare and Doctrine Centre (AWDC) on April 24, following a two-week intensive programme designed to improve effectiveness in multi-domain operations.

Speaking at the ceremony, NAF’s Chief of Operations, Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Precious Amadi, urged the graduates to apply the knowledge gained to enhance operational performance in their respective units. He emphasised the importance of joint operations, interconnectivity and continuous professional development in addressing evolving security challenges.

Commandant of AWDC, Garba Jibia, said the Air Campaign Planning Course strengthened participants’ capacity to plan and execute air operations, while the ISR course improved their ability to integrate intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance assets into joint missions.
