The Nasarawa State House of Assembly has urged Mr Isa Habis, the Administrator of Gadabuke Area Administrative Council, and Mr Abdul Ogu, member, Giza Area Administrative Council, to live above board in the discharge of their duties.

The Speaker of the House, Dr. Danladi Jatau, made the call during the screening and confirmation of the officers in Lafia.

Jatau urged the appointees to key into the development vision of Governor Abdullahi Sule for their councils and the state at large.

The speaker directed the Clerk of the House to produce a copy of the resolution for onward transmission to Sule for necessary action.

Earlier, the Majority Leader of the House, Mr Suleiman Azara, moved a motion for the screening and confirmation of the nominees, which was seconded by the Minority Leader, Mr Luka Zhekaba.

The House confirmed Habis as Administrator of Gadabuke Area Administrative Council and Ogu as a member of the Giza Area Administrative Council.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that the Gadabuke Area Administrative Council lost its former Administrator, Mr Jibrin Maiwada, in March after a brief illness.
