Delegates from the North-Central states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) will converge on Lafia, Nasarawa State capital, on Wednesday for the Zonal congress of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), ahead of the party’s National Convention slated for March 27 and 28 in Abuja.

The notice of the Congress was in a statement issued in Abuja on Sunday by the party's National Vice Chairman (North Central), Hon. Mu'azu Bawa Rijau in Abuja.

The National Vice Chairman said the Congress will be held at Akwe Doma Banquet Hall, Government House, Lafia, Nasarawa State, on Wednesday, 25th of March, 2026, at 10 am.

According to Rijau, the Congress will allow delegates from the region—which consists of Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger, Plateau, and the FCT—to review the party's activities and form a common front for the National Convention.
