The NBA has officially shifted the 2026 All-Star Game to a high-stakes three-team round-robin tournament, leaning into the rivalry between established American legends, rising U.S. stars, and an increasingly dominant international contingent.
Team rosters for the NBA All-Star Game, which will take place on Sunday, Feb. 15 at 5 p.m. ET (Monday, Feb. 16 at 10:00 p.m. GMT/00:00 a.m. CAT) at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, will air on SuperSport, Showmax, ZAP TV, Canal+ and beIN in Africa.
The two U.S. teams are USA Stars and USA Stripes. The U.S. All-Stars were assigned to teams based on age, with the younger group placed on USA Stars and the older group placed on USA Stripes. Team World is composed of international players.
Detroit Pistons head coach J.B. Bickerstaff and San Antonio Spurs head coach Mitch Johnson will lead the USA Stars and USA Stripes, respectively. Toronto Raptors head coach Darko Rajaković of Serbia will lead Team World.

The 75th NBA All-Star Game will feature a round-robin mini-tournament with four 12-minute games. The matchups are as follows: Game 1: USA Stars vs. World; Game 2: USA Stripes vs. winning team of Game 1; Game 3: USA Stripes vs. losing team of Game 1 and Game 4: Championship (top two teams from round-robin play).
If all three teams finish 1-1 after the round-robin games, the first tiebreaker will be point differential across each team’s two games.
Los Angeles Clippers’ Kawhi Leonard was also named by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver as an addition to the U.S. player pool for the 2026 NBA All-Star Game. After the selection of the initial 24 All-Stars, Leonard was added to bring the total number of U.S. All-Stars to 16, the minimum required under the format.
A 14-year NBA veteran, Leonard has earned his seventh All-Star selection. In 2020, he received the Kobe Bryant Trophy as the NBA All-Star Game MVP.
