South African Betway Premiership side Stellenbosch FC have confirmed the signing of Nigerian defender Olisa Ndah on a contract running until the end of the season, with an option to extend for a further year.

Ndah, 28, completed his medical and has already linked up with the squad ahead of their next league fixture. He will wear the No. 99 jersey and could make his debut against Magesi FC at the Danie Craven Stadium.

The central defender recently parted ways with Orlando Pirates by mutual consent, bringing to an end a four-and-a-half-year stint in Soweto.

During his time with the Buccaneers, Ndah made 81 appearances, won three MTN 8 titles, and featured prominently in CAF inter-club competitions, including the CAF Confederation Cup and CAF Champions League campaigns.

Stellenbosch CEO Rob Benadie described Ndah as a player with “proven quality and top-level experience,” adding that the club’s recruitment process remains strategic and deliberate.

According to Benadie, Ndah’s experience at both domestic and continental levels will provide immediate stability and leadership at the back.

Ndah becomes the fourth Nigerian on Stellenbosch’s books, joining Kazie Godswill, Ibraheem Jabaar, and Stanley Dimgba, highlighting the growing Nigerian presence in the South African league.

A former Super Eagles invitee, Ndah’s move offers him a fresh platform to revive his international ambitions while strengthening Stellenbosch’s push in the Premiership.
