Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie delivered another outstanding performance for Brighton & Hove Albion Women, producing a string of crucial saves to help her side secure a goalless draw against Liverpool Women.

The Nigerian international played the full 90 minutes at Broadfield Stadium, standing firm as Brighton’s last line of defence in a match where their attacking unit struggled to convert home advantage into goals.

Head coach Dario Vidosic expressed frustration after the game, pointing to his side’s blunt attack as the major drawback, despite controlling phases of the encounter.

Brighton created chances through Rosa Kafaji and Fran Kirby, but both failed to beat Liverpool goalkeeper Jennifer Falk. At the other end, Nnadozie proved decisive, denying efforts from Aurelie Csillag, while a dramatic late goal-line clearance ensured the hosts avoided defeat.

Liverpool came closest through Mia Enderby, who squandered a one-on-one opportunity after capitalising on a defensive lapse.

The result extends Brighton’s winless streak in the Women’s Super League to four matches, leaving them eighth on the table, with Liverpool arguably the more satisfied side as they earned a valuable point on the road.
