Jigawa Golden Stars of Dutse are the new leaders of the NNL Conference D.

This followed an NFF disciplinary ruling that awarded them three points and three goals after Yobe Desert Stars fielded an ineligible player, Shedrach John, against them.

With a round of matches to the end of the season, Jigawa lead Conference D with 21 points from 11 matches, a point ahead of Ranchers Bees.

Adamawa United are third 18 points.

In the final round matches, bottom team Kebbi United welcome Jigawa, while Ranchers Bees will be guests of Gombe United.

The winners of this section will be promoted to the NPFL and also feature in the Super 4 in Ikenne next month to determine the overall champions of the second-tier league.
