The Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) will  tomorrow  inaugurate the Olympafrica Centre and break ground on the Olympic Residential Estate Project at the Olympafrica Sports Centre, Alakoso Avenue, Amuwo Odofin Estate, Lagos.

The ceremony, scheduled to begin at 11 a.m., marks a significant step in the NOC's efforts to develop sustainable sports infrastructure in Nigeria, combining elite athletic facilities with a residential component designed to support the next generation of Nigerian athletes.

The Olympic Estate, integrated directly into the NOC grounds, is built around a "Live-Train-Play" model that brings together modern living spaces and sports facilities on a single site — a concept gaining traction in sports infrastructure development globally.

The Olympafrica Centre, which has operated as a sports development facility for several years, hosts a standard football pitch, athletics tracks, volleyball and basketball courts, and a multi-purpose indoor sports hall.

The venue is located near the Lord's Chosen Charismatic Church headquarters on the Oshodi-Mile 2 Expressway.
