The Nigeria Weightlifting Federation (NWF) has completed a major step toward resolving athlete transfer disputes with the submission of new guidelines.

The initiative, driven by NWF President Dr Ibrahim Abdul, aims to eliminate conflicts linked to athlete movement and promote fairness and transparency.

The committee, led by Dr Steve Olarinoye, developed a framework to regulate transfers across states and clubs, especially during major events like the National Sports Festival and National Youth Games.
