The Nigeria Women Football League has confirmed key developments involving two clubs, as Ekiti Queens prepare for a symbolic homecoming and Ibom Angels regain the right to host fans.

Ekiti Queens will officially mark their return to home soil on Matchday 12 when they host regional rivals Pacesetter Queens in front of their supporters.

Meanwhile, the league has lifted the spectator ban previously imposed on Ibom Angels following crowd control incidents and breaches of matchday regulations. The sanctions had forced the club to play several matches behind closed doors.

After reviewing improvements in matchday organisation, including enhanced security arrangements and compliance with league standards, the NWFL confirmed that Ibom Angels have met all necessary requirements.

Fans will now be allowed back into the stadium starting with their Matchday 12 clash against Adamawa Queens.

The league body reiterated its commitment to maintaining professionalism, safety, and integrity across all venues, while commending both clubs for adhering to directives during the sanction period.
