Nasarawa Amazons and Abia Angels have completed the lineup for the Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) Premiership Super Six playoffs after decisive Matchday 17 results in Group B, sealing the final two available spots in the season-ending championship race.

Nasarawa Amazons confirmed their place with a hard-fought 2–1 win over Sunshine Queens in Lafia. Chigozie Idika had given the visitors an early lead in the 10th minute, but Bibiana Odoh turned the game around with a quick-fire brace in the 46th  and 51st  minutes. The Amazons now sit second in Group B with 32 points, while Sunshine Queens remain eighth with 19 points and must win their final game while hoping for favourable results elsewhere.

In Lagos, Abia Angels secured a historic first-ever Super Six qualification after battling Dannaz Ladies to a goalless draw. The Umuahia side, coached by Adanna Nwaneri, hold third place with 28 points, while Dannaz Ladies are seventh with 20 points.

Elsewhere in Group B, Delta Queens ended Remo Stars Ladies’ playoff hopes with an emphatic 3–0 victory in Asaba. Goals from Temitope Titilayo (34’), Vweire Samson (41’), and Rita Tsebee (89’) lifted Delta Queens to sixth place with 22 points, while Remo Stars remain fourth on 24 points.

Ahudiyannem Queens produced a dominant display to beat Confluence Queens 3–0 away, with Mary Lucky scoring twice (14’, 36’) and Loveth Edeh adding the third in the 72nd  minute. The win keeps Ahudiyannem fifth with 22 points, while bottom-placed Confluence Queens are now officially relegated.

Osun Babes boosted their slim survival hopes with a 1–0 win over FC Robo Queens in Ile-Ogbo, courtesy of Nofisat Tijani’s 36th -minute strike. They are ninth with 18 points and must win their final game and rely on other results to avoid relegation.

Also in Group A, defending champions Bayelsa Queens strengthened their grip on top spot with a 2–0 victory over Heartland Queens in Yenagoa. Aminat Folorunsho opened the scoring in the 25th  minute before Sofiat Bankole sealed the win late on in the 84th  minute. Bayelsa now lead the group with 37 points and need just a draw in their final game to finish top, while Heartland Queens are sixth with 19 points.

Rivers Angels kept up the pressure with a commanding 4–0 win over Ekiti Queens in Port Harcourt. Patience Otubo (25’), Abasiofon Uwah (36’, 50’), and Zainab Oduga (42’) were all on target as the Port Harcourt side moved to second with 34 points. Ekiti Queens dropped to fifth with 19 points.

Edo Queens missed the chance to strengthen their position after being held to a 1–1 draw by Ibom Angels in Benin City. Esther Inyang gave Edo the lead in the 54th  minute before Jessica Mark equalised in the 83rd  minute. Edo Queens remain third with 33 points, while Ibom Angels are seventh with 19 points.

Adamawa Queens consolidated fourth place with a 2–0 win over already relegated Naija Ratels, thanks to goals from Miracle Isioma Nwakolie (17’) and Ifeoma Damian (75’). Adamawa now have 20 points, while Naija Ratels remain bottom with just five points.

At the other end of the table, the relegation picture became clearer as Pacesetters Queens and Naija Ratels had already been confirmed down, alongside Castmog Ladies who were expelled earlier in the season.

Confluence Queens have now joined the drop after their heavy home defeat, while Osun Babes face a final-day battle for survival.

With one round of matches left in the regular season, the Super Six lineup is now complete, with Nasarawa Amazons and Abia Angels emerging from Group B to join the race for the title which also include FC Robo Queens, Bayelsa Queens, Rivers Angels and Edo Queens.
