Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has urged student leaders to see leadership as a duty to serve and uplift others.
A statement from the Olusegun Obasanjo Leadership Institute(OOLI), Abeokuta, Ogun State, noted that he counselled them on ideal leadership during a four-day Students’ Leadership Training organised by the Institute in partnership with the University of Lagos, held in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Obasanjo said a true leader must be an achiever and an actualizer, someone who turns vision into reality.
He urged them to embrace integrity, resilience and service in their leadership endeavours.
