village Boys Movement has intensified calls for African Democratic Congress to give its presidential ticket to Peter Obi, following a coordinated mobilisation that drew supporters.
It staged a “2 Million Man March and ADC Registration Drive” on Saturday, with activities in Abia, Adamawa, Anambra, Ebonyi, Plateau, Jigawa, Kaduna, Ondo, Ogun, Oyo, Kogi and Edo states.
Organisers said the exercise reflected grassroots momentum and a deepening demand for political change in 2027.
In a statement, Village Headmaster, Tochukwu Ezeoke, said the march demonstrated support for Obi while also driving registration into ADC.
He noted the initiative is pa structured and nationally coordinated political base.
Ezeoke added the rollout was intentional, to sustain engagement and maintain momentum in the coming weeks.
He said the movement will transform widespread sentiment into a political force.
VBM argued demand for credible leadership has reached a critical point, with citizens becoming mobilised to influence the country’s democratic trajectory.

The group also pointed to ongoing conversations within key political blocs, including the Peoples Democratic Party, All Progressives Congress, the Labour Party, and the Southern and Middle Belt Leaders Forum, noting that calls for a Southern presidency are gaining increasing traction.
The movement insisted that the ADC must act decisively in line with what it described as the popular will by granting Obi its presidential ticket without delay.
Reaffirming its long-term objective, VBM said it would continue mobilising Nigerians across rural and urban communities to drive what it termed a “decisive political shift” in 2027, stressing that the era of recycled leadership must give way to a new order.
It added that Saturday’s march marks the beginning of what it called a coordinated national awakening.
