Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has extended warm felicitations to High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly called Tompolo, and the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Felix Morka, on their 55th and 61st birth anniversaries.

The Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro, also felicitated Tompolo on the celebration of his 55th birthday.

In statements by his Chief Press Secretary, Governor Oborevwori described Ekpemupolo as a respected Niger Delta leader whose contributions to peace, security, and development of the region and the country have had a far-reaching impact.

 The governor highlighted Tompolo’s leadership as the Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, noting the firm’s role in combating crude oil theft, boosting oil production, and enhancing national revenue.

He praised his support for the Delta State Security Trust Fund, describing it as a strong commitment to safeguarding lives and property.

Oborevwori also acknowledged that the state and the Federal governments value Ekpemupolo’s continued efforts in fostering stability in the region.

In congratulating Morka, the governor describing the APC chieftain as a seasoned legal practitioner, human rights advocate, and accomplished communicator. He applauded Morka’s professionalism in managing the ruling party’s image and his contributions to strengthening democratic ideals, governance, and accountability in Nigeria.

Oborevwori noted that Morka’s career spans legal advocacy, civil society engagement, and international human rights work, all of which have contributed significantly to national development.

The governor wished both celebrants continued good health, wisdom, and greater accomplishments in their service to the nation.

In his birthday message to Tompolo, the PAP administrator described him as a foremost Niger Delta freedom fighter, a patriot and a distinguished son of Nigeria, the region and the Ijaw nation.

According to him, Tompolo’s contributions to peace, security, stability and development of the region and Nigeria are remarkable and impactful.

In a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Igoniko Oduma, the PAP administrator also described Tompolo as a community builder and a compassionate and humane leader whose philanthropic gestures have touched lives and communities across the region and the counry.

He noted that through TSSNL, Tompolo has empowered over 45,000 Niger Delta youths with jobs, with many other indigent youths placed on his scholarship to attain higher education.

The PAP helmsman hailed Tompolo’s security and intelligence expertise, and the efficient role of his security firm in the protection of crude oil facilities, which has resulted in the steady rise in the nation’s oil production quota, hitting 1.8 million bpd recently.

Celebrating Tompolo for attaining the 55rh birthday milestone, Otuaro prayed the Almighty God to sustain him, and grant him good health and long life.

He added: “I join family, friends, associates and well-wishers to extend warm felicitations to a great leader, mentor, community builder, philanthropist, a worthy son of the Niger Delta and the Ijaw nation, and a patriotic Nigerian, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, on the occasion of his 55th birthday.

“Tompolo is a huge asset not only to the Ijaw nation and the Niger Delta, but to the country at large. Today, I celebrate his patriotism and unwavering commitment to the peace, stability, security and development of the Niger Delta and Nigeria as a whole.

“I also celebrate Tompolo’s impactful life and legacy of selfless service to society and humanity. I pray that Almighty God will continue to grant him good health, renewed strength, and long life.”
