…congratulates Ayirimi Emami at 51

From Simon Utebor, Asaba

Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has inaugurated the New Dynamic Forum (NDF), a grassroots political platform to mobilise support for his re-election and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second-term bid ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Represented by his Senior Policy Adviser and State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, the governor, performed the inauguration on Saturday at the Open Mobile Camp Field, Ovwian-Aladja Police Station, off Egini Drive.

Oborevwori described the forum as a strategic platform to deepen grassroots mobilisation and consolidate governance gains across Delta State.

He commended the convener, S.K. Palama, for establishing the forum, saying it reflected the power of organised political engagement at the community level.

The governor urged members to move beyond ceremonial gatherings and become active agents of mobilization, sensitization, and effective communication of government policies and achievements.

He charged them to spread across all wards, with special focus on youths and women, to build a stronger support base.

“As we look ahead to 2027, we must remain united, focused, and committed. True strength lies not in noise but in unity of purpose,” he said, adding that the forum should serve as a “laboratory of ideas and a workshop of action.”

He also reaffirmed Delta State’s alignment with the Tinubu administration's RHA, stressing that continuity in leadership remained key to sustaining development.

Oborevwori formally declared the NDF inaugurated and expressed confidence that it would shape political participation and electoral outcomes in the state.

Meanwhile, Governor Oborevwori has congratulated APC chieftain, Chief Ayirimi Emami, on his 51st birth anniversary.

Emami, a businessman and prominent political figure, marked his birthday on April 26.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the governor praised Emami for his contributions to the growth and development of Warri, Delta State, and the country.

He described him as a committed leader whose influence had positively impacted his community, especially in promoting political stability and grassroots development in the Warri area.

Oborevwori also commended Emami for his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration and his alignment with the Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda of the Delta State Government.

“On behalf of the government and people of Delta State, I congratulate my dear brother and friend, Chief Ayirimi Emami, on his 51st birth anniversary,” the governor said.

He prayed for good health, long life, and continued success for the APC leader.
