A socio-political group, the Progressives Nation Builders Initiative (PNBI), has commended the emergence of Olamilekan Adeola as the consensus governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a statement signed by its President, Oluwafemi Onadeko, the group said Adeola’s selection aligns with ongoing efforts to sustain socio-economic development initiatives under the administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun.

Onadeko said the group welcomed the consensus arrangement, describing Adeola’s emergence as a product of dedication and sustained engagement within the party structure. He added that the group would support the candidate’s bid, stressing the importance of continuity in governance and policy direction.

The PNBI urged APC stakeholders across Ogun State to rally behind the candidate, describing party unity as essential to maintaining electoral strength in the 2027 elections.

The group further advised Adeola to consolidate support by engaging other aspirants and ensuring inclusiveness within the party to strengthen cohesion ahead of the polls.

Onadeko also commended Governor Abiodun for what he described as a leadership approach that fostered internal harmony, adding that the consensus process reflected maturity within the party and reinforced internal democratic practices.
