Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has extended his condolences to his Deputy, Dennis Idahosa, and his family on the passing of his mother, Mrs. Esther Imaguomwanruo Idahosa.
Mrs. Idahosa died on April 8, 2026, at the age of 95.
Okpebholo, in a statement he personally signed, described her passing as deeply painful and leaving an irreplaceable void in the lives of her loved ones.

Governor Okpebholo acknowledged the remarkable life she lived, marked by love, sacrifice, and devotion to family, adding that her legacy will continue to inspire all who knew her.
He said the thoughts and prayers of the Government and the good people of Edo State were with the Deputy Governor and his family during this period of mourning.
