Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has hailed former Governor Adams Oshiomhole's legacies in the state.

Governor Okpebholo, who congratulated Oshiomhole on his 74th birthday in a goodwill messge, said the Edo North Senator laid a solid foundation for reform-driven governance and helped restore public confidence in leadership.

Okpebholo described Oshiomhole's life as emphasising enduring leadership legacy and contributions to governance including national development.

In the goodwill message released on Saturday, Governor Okpebholo,  celebrated Oshiomhole’s life of service, saying, the former Edo Governor demonstrated courage, integrity, and a strong commitment to the welfare of the people.

The governor said Oshiomhole, as a former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), championed unity, discipline, and progressive ideals across the country.

Okpebholo also praised Oshiomhole's continued service as a Senator even as he prayed for continued good health, strength, and many more years of impactful service.

“As you mark this milestone, we celebrate your achievements and the values you embody. Your guidance and mentorship remain invaluable.”
