Soft-spoken Nadratullah Aisha Aderoju went home with the star prize - an all-expense paid trip to Saudi Arabia for Umrah (lesser hajj) later in the year. Ibrahim-Amin UmmulKhayr and Muhamad Jamiu Shafih were runners-up.
For the senior category, a three-time contestant, Nadratullah Afuwape, stole the show with her unmatched memorisation and recitation of the Qur’an. She edged out Ibrahim-Amin UmmulKhayr and Muhammed Jamiu Safih who came second and third respectively.
Afuwape not only won for herself the grand prize of N1 million but also an all-expense paid pilgrimage to Makkah, to assert the female contestants’ dominance.

On the sides, handsome prices went the way of excelling contestants for punctuality where the last year’s winner, Mr. Kamilu Baruwa, carried the day while selected pupils who rendered Prophet Muhammad’s panegyrics (Moodiu Rosul) went home with mouthwatering material and cash gifts from Olasoju and his invited allies.

In his address, Olasoju, who is the competition sole sponsor, declared all contestants winners.
