Afrobeats singer and songwriter Omah Lay has released his highly anticipated sophomore album, 'Clarity of Mind', on all streaming platforms.
The 12-track project features a blend of Afro-fusion sounds and introspective lyrics, showcasing Omah Lay's signature style.
The album includes tracks such as 'Artificial Happiness', 'Jah Jah Knows', 'Canada Breeze', and 'Don't Love Me', among others.
This release marks a new chapter in Omah Lay's career, as he explores themes of self-discovery and emotional healing.
Omah Lay, who burst onto the scene in 2020 with hits like 'You' and 'Bad Influence', has earned a dedicated global following with his unique sound.
He recently received a Grammy nomination for 'Best African Music Performance' for his collaboration with Davido on 'With You'.
The singer has expressed confidence in his craft, stating he considers himself Nigeria's best artiste of the last 20 years, alongside Burna Boy.
“I’m the best at this. I don’t mean to brag. But I am the best in the last 20 years,” he said.
“If you bring together all Afrobeats artistes, when it comes to true artistry and making music, I stand alone at the top. The only person I sometimes put on the same level as me is Burna Boy. He’s the sole artiste I look at and think, ‘yes, he’s up there.’ Apart from Burna, it’s just me.”
