Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has dissolved the boards of several parastatals and commissions in the state, with immediate effect.

A statement issued on Tuesday by his Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, said the decision affects key government bodies, including the Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), the Local Government Service Commission (LGSC), as well as the Muslim and Christian Welfare Boards.

Also affected are the Education Secretaries across the 18 Local Government Areas of the state.

According to the statement, all chairmen, commissioners, board members, and education secretaries are to hand over to the most senior administrative officers in their respective offices.

Aiyedatiwa expressed appreciation to the affected officials for their service and contributions to the development of the state during their tenure.

"The Chairmen, Commissioners, members of the Boards and Commissions and Education Secretaries are thereby directed to hand over to the most senior Administrative Officers in their respective offices.

"The Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, expresses profound appreciation to all affected for their service, dedication, and contributions to the development of the State during their tenure," the statement read.
