The Ondo State chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Kolawole Babatunde, has congratulated Christians across the state on the occasion of Easter, calling on residents to embrace the virtues of love, sacrifice, and perseverance symbolised by the season.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Hon. Babatunde described Easter as a sacred period that commemorates the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, noting that the season's lessons remain vital for personal conduct and societal development.

He urged the people of Ondo State to use the period for sober reflection and to offer prayers for peace, unity, and progress in the state and the country at large.

"Easter remains a powerful reminder of the enduring virtues of love, sacrifice, perseverance, and hope. These timeless lessons are not only central to the Christian faith but are also essential values that should guide our daily lives and collective aspirations as a people," he said.

The APC chairman called on residents to renew their faith in God and remain committed to the growth and stability of the state.

Babatunde also appealed for continued support for the administration of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, commending his efforts at transforming the state through the OUR EASE agenda.

He further canvassed support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stating that the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda is aimed at building a more prosperous Nigeria.

Reaffirming the commitment of the APC to good governance, Babatunde assured citizens that the party would continue to promote unity and work towards the overall well-being of the people.

He, however, prayed that the joy, peace, and blessings of the Easter season would abide with residents and their families.
