One person, identified as Courage, popularly known as Dogo, has been killed, and three others injured in a clash over how to share proceeds from illegal ticketing in Edo State.
Governor Monday Okpebholo had last year banned all forms of ticketing, but some youths still harassed traders and commercial drivers to extort money from them.
It was gathered that Courage was traced to Eboh Quarters, Estate Gate, in Oredo local government area, where he was shot dead last Friday for allegedly failing to account for proceeds from illegal ticketing.

A reprisal attack along Wire Road in Benin City led to three persons sustaining injuries.
Secretary of the Edo State Special Security Squad, code-named Operation Flush Out Kidnappers and Cultists, Izegaegbe John, said investigations showed that the killing was not cult-related.
Izegaegbe said Governor Monday Okpebholo frowned at the killing and gave them a marching order to ensure they get to the root of the matter.
He stated that coordinated stop-and-search operations across parts of Benin City led to the recovery of an AK2 Army magazine loaded with live ammunition inside a vehicle.
According to him, "We received a distress call on Friday reporting a killing in the community. Upon arrival, operatives confirmed that the victim, Mr. Courage, popularly known as “Dogo,” had been killed.

"Contrary to initial speculation, the incident was not cult-related but stemmed from a dispute over park ticketing activities.
"The deceased was allegedly involved in illegal ticketing and was accused by some individuals of failing to appropriately share proceeds. The disagreement allegedly led to a conspiracy that resulted in the victim’s death.
"Preliminary investigations further revealed that a 9mm Beretta pistol was used in the attack, with cartridges recovered at the scene.
“We must tell you the fact that it is not a cult killing. We have investigated, and investigations are still ongoing."
Izegaegbe said several suspects have been arrested and are currently providing useful information that may lead to additional arrests."
