The pioneer Director General of the Cross River State Political Network (CRISPON),  Prince Michael Abuo, has lauded the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in the state, Rt. Hon. Christopher Sunny Etta, on his emergence.

He gave the commendation when he led a courtesy visit to the party at its state office.

Abuo said the visit was also express the organization’s loyalty to his leadership.

He used the opportunity to intimate the chairman of CRISPONs several political engagements including mobilization of the masses to partake in the last voters’ registration exercise as well as encouraging residents to obtain their PVCs’ across the 196 wards in Cross River State.

He disclosed that in view of their numerous achievements lately, preparations were on top gear to re-endorse both President Bola Ahmed and Governor Bassey Ot u, for second term in office, respectively.

The State party chairman said with the level of preparations on ground to muster the needed votes and the goodwill of Nigerians, the APC's victory in the 2027 general election is certain.

Flanked by the state Secretary, Hon. Patrick Asikpo Okon and other Executive members, the Chairman stated that no stone will be left unturned to ensure total victory for the ruling party in the forthcoming general elections.

Rt Hon Etta, however, said the party’s victory can only be guaranteed with a renewed strategy to pull the required number of votes, calling on her members and supporters to brace up for the challenges ahead.

While commending the leadership of CRISPON for her sustained support and loyalty to the party, Etta said “You are good mobilizers. Even though I was not here during the last election, at least this year we were in Ikom and Ogoja together for your programmes. I witnessed it live; It was well attended. You are good at grassroot mobilization.

“But, we discovered lately that the election itself is not as much as tedious as the mobilization we do. So are already working with all stakeholders to see how we can design a more grassroot based mobilization.

“I want us to mob up as much votes as we can, especially in the presidential election. As you do know, the presidential election is already done and sealed; its only left for the person who wants to contest to have the courage to run it.

“For me, it’s like a publicity movement for that person. For the presidential election, the APC will win. What is now left is for us as usual to re-strategize and muster as much votes as we can."
