Osun 2026: APC aspirant Agoro rallies support for Oyebamiji, Tinubu's re-election

All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant for Oriade/Obokun Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections, Ademola Isaac Agoro (AIA), has mobilised constituents in support of the party’s governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, ahead of the forthcoming Osun State governorship poll.

Agoro pledged to secure overwhelming votes for the APC candidate in the 2026 election, expressing confidence in the party’s chances at the polls.

Speaking with journalists in Oriade Local Government Area of Osun State, Agoro said the APC is well positioned to unseat Governor Ademola Adeleke in the next governorship election.

He also promised to strengthen internal cohesion, rebuild confidence within party structures, and lay the groundwork for disciplined mobilisation ahead of the governorship election, as well as support the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He said, "In ward 12 and Oriade local government, we are ready to raise the bar and deliver record votes for our governorship candidate and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu."

"I want to appeal to you, my people, to come out en-masse and vote for AMBO to become the next governor of Osun State. This will make us to be beneficiaries of good things from the governor for the benefit of our area. We can not get anything tangible from the government if we are not also getting involved in who governs us."

"Today, these food items, clothes, and cash we are distributing are mostly targeted at our aged and party leaders to cater for them and appreciate them. I want to assure the youths that we are ready to support you in all your endeavours, just let's know what you want and the area you want us to assist, and we will gladly do that."

In his remark, the current lawmaker in the constituency, Hon. Nathaniel Agunbiade commended Agoro for putting interest of his people first in all he's doing.

Agunbiade urged members of the party as well as supporters to come out enmasse to cast their vote for the party governorship candidate and also support the aspiration of Engr Ademola Agoro to be lawmaker that will represent the constituency in 2027.

One of the leaders of the party in Oriade local government, Chief Gabriel Ogunsanya called on party leaders and supporters to remained united, stressing that cohesion and discipline were vital to maintaining the APC’s victory in the state in 2026 governorship election.

He thanked Agoro for his efforts towards repositioning the party and his continued welfare for the people of his constituency, assuring him of support from leaders of the party next year for his aspiration.

In their separate comments, Hon Kayode Ajewole, who is the APC Chairman in the local government and former LCDA Chairman, Hon Felix Agboge congratulate the people of Erinmo for having such an extra ordinary son in Agoro who has done so much for his people even without any political offices.

The duo called on the people to go out and register as to cast their votes for AMBO in the August governorship election.

They assured that the party are fully united and  are all standing together in support of AMBO and Asiwaju Tinubu for a second term.”

In his goodwill message, the Elerinmo of Erinmo, Oba (Dr) Michael Odunayo Ajayi described Agoro as a pride to the town and pledged his support for him at all times. 

Oba Ajayi urged people of the town to continue praying for Agoro, who is everyday thinking of development for the constituents.
