Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, and the Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters, Ibrahim Olarewaju, have congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his 74th birthday, describing him as a selfless leader whose policies continue to drive national development.
Oyebanji, in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media, Yinka Oyebode, described the President as a genuine lover of the people, a pathfinder, and a committed democrat who has dedicated his life to the service of the country.
He said that Tinubu’s contributions to Nigeria’s democratic journey and governance had come with great personal sacrifices, noting that the President had built an enduring legacy as a corporate professional, pro-democracy activist, and political leader.
He added that Tinubu’s impact remained significant at both subnational and national levels, citing his roles as a Senator in the Third Republic, former governor of Lagos State, and now President.
“Oyebanji said the people of Ekiti State remain grateful for the President’s support and the positive impact of his policies on the state, praying for more years of good health and service to the nation,” the statement said.
In a similar development, Olarewaju, in a statement on Sunday, hailed Tinubu’s leadership, describing it as visionary and transformative, particularly under the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
He said the government had moved from economic stabilisation to accelerated growth, anchored on the N58.18tn 2026 budget, which he described as the “Budget of Acceleration.”
The presidential aide listed key initiatives of the administration to include the Renewed Hope Cities and Estates programme, Ward Development projects, and the Nigeria Education Loan Fund, noting that they were already yielding results across critical sectors.
Olarewaju, who previously served in the House of Representatives, said working closely with the President had strengthened his understanding of governance and leadership.
“His ability to take tough but necessary decisions in the interest of future prosperity underscores his status as a statesman,” he said.
Olarewaju urged Nigerians to continue supporting President Tinubu, expressing optimism that the country was on course to achieve long-term economic growth.
