A chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, who is also a member of Ibadan North Local Government Renewed Hope Ambassadors Tour (Media Committee), Dr. Olubunmi Sodipo, has said APC would get the full benefits of delivering massive votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general election.
Meeting stakeholders of Avant Garde Group of APC at Egbeda Local Government Party Secretariat, Sodipo urged party members to put behind them the disappointment of 2023 governorship election loss, saying the conditions and circumstances that led to the loss had ceased to exist.
He said: “The shenanigans and horse trading at the national level, which accompanied the 2023 elections, affecting Oyo State and placing faithful party members at a disadvantage, have been laid to rest. 2027 is a new start on a clean slate.
“The message of unity, peace and harmony from Asiwaju Tinubu to Oyo State APC through Oyo State Renewed Hope Ambassador, Senator Teslim Folarin, has been taken to the 14 federal constituencies in the state. Stakeholders and members across the state are working together as one and in one purpose. “

They called on APC members to remain focused, committed and united, pledging to support President Tinubu’s re-election bid and that of others in the coming general election.
