The lawmaker representing Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency, Aderemi Oseni, has disbursed N100 million to empower residents across the constituency.

Speaking at the general meeting of the Remi Oseni Committee of Friends (ROCOF) held in Ido Local Government Area, Oseni, who chairs the House Committee on the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA), said the support group would mobilise and provide backing for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 elections.
The event featured the presentation of N1 million cheques to 20 selected youths from the constituency, alongside N100,000 grants to market women and artisans to boost their businesses.
Oseni reaffirmed his commitment to advancing the welfare and economic prospects of youths, artisans and market women in the constituency.
Also, the lawmaker while receiving some defectors from the New Nigeria People’s Party, (NNPP) at the gathering said ROCOF is working delligently to deliver one million votes for President Bola Tinubu in the coming 2027 presidential election.
According to him, ROCOF was put together to harmonised and network members to think together about the progress of the group and All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to him, ROCOF also served as a platform to encourage and motivate the commitment of party faithful.
Oseni further said that the success recorded during the just-concluded APC ward and local government congresses was another testament to the party’s leadership commitment.
He attributed the success of the congress to commitment of leadership of the party from the federal to the grassroots levels.

He said, "We are not just asking them to gather for grouping sake, but for the betterment of all, and see how we can move as a team to achieve our party’s common goals. Our goal is to liberate people who have been imprisoned politically and to ensure that indigents are properly empowered.
“One of our focal areas is to help ourselves in the areas of education, youth empowerment, skills acquisition, and support for market men and women to progress in their businesses. We are also doing this to strengthen APC across all levels.
“The array of people present at this combined constituency programme is a clue that APC is set for victory in 2027. It also reflected the genuine resolve of all stakeholders to put the party first."
