Federal Government securities remain the backbone, hoarding over N16.9 trillion of the total. Domestic shares climbed to N5.4 trillion while foreign equities barely moved, hovering at N261.9 billion.

Fund III led the charge with a N810 billion gain. Other funds didn’t sit still either, with CPFAs, corporate bonds, and money market instruments pushing the total higher. Retiree funds inched up N756 million.

Private equities rose modestly to N258 billion, while real estate remained steady at N169.5 billion. Infrastructure funds added another N300 billion, quietly padding the growth.

Retirement Savings Accounts (RSAs) rose to 11.13 million contributors. Analysts say improved contributions and strong government-backed instruments drove the spike.
