The Delta State Police Command has intensified efforts to rescue the abducted Chairman of Sapele Local Government Area, Hon. Abeke following a high-level operational visit by the Commissioner of Police, Yemi Oyeniyi.
Oyeniyi on Saturday, conducted an on-the-spot assessment in Sapele as part of a coordinated response to the incident, assuring residents that all necessary measures were being taken to secure the victim’s safe and unharmed release.

During the visit, the police chief inspected Debro Fred Guest House, where the abduction reportedly took place, in a bid to obtain first-hand information and evaluate the circumstances surrounding the attack.
He also visited Ogorode Waterside, where the vehicle believed to have been used by the kidnappers was recovered.
