Controversial singer Portable has criticised Nigerian pastors for their alleged inaction amid rising terrorist attacks, particularly the Palm Sunday attack in Jos.

In a video, he questioned why pastors aren't leading protests, stating that they prioritise their own safety with bulletproof vehicles while their congregation suffers.

Portable, however, stated that the situation would be different if the victims were Muslims.

He claimed that pastors neglected their duties by remaining silent.

“Why are Nigerian pastors not fighting for Christians? They use bulletproof cars yet their followers are dying. Why can’t pastors lead protest to the Aso rock? You can’t harm a Muslim and there won’t be chaos. If you kill a traditionalist, there will be crisis. But if you kill a Christian, the pastor will look away and being enjoying in his car,” he stated.
