Renowned American rapper Nayvadius DeMun Cash, popularly known as Future, has expressed deep regret over his past treatment of women, citing a lack of male role models in his childhood as a contributing factor.

In a recent interview with Hot 97 FM, the "Mask Off" artist stated that he never had a positive example of how to treat a woman, having grown up without seeing his mother receive genuine love or gestures from a man.

“My biggest regret in life is that I should have loved harder. I should have found a way to love the right way.

“I came from nothing, and I didn’t have a person or a male role model to show me how to treat a woman. I have never seen someone buy my mum a flower,” he expressed.

Future, who has nine children with different women, acknowledged that his past relationships were his only guide in navigating romance, but emphasised that he is now focused on learning from his mistakes.
