As political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Prince Wale Oluwa, has called on Nigerians to sustain the current national reform trajectory by supporting the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Oluwa argued that discontinuity at the federal level could truncate ongoing structural reforms, warning that failure to return the president would amount to “wasted years of transformative groundwork” already set in motion.

According to him, governance overhauls, particularly in fiscal restructuring, infrastructure expansion and economic re-engineering, require policy stability and leadership consolidation to achieve measurable national impact.

It is against this backdrop of national advocacy that succession conversations within Lagos State are beginning to spotlight Prince Oluwa himself as a potential gubernatorial contender, especially within stakeholder blocs of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the Badagry Division.
