The Renewed Hope Ambassadors for the 2027 re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu have appointed Chief Olisa Metuh as Director of Organisation and Mobilisation.

Metuh, a former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is expected to bring his political experience to the role.

In a congratulatory message issued at the weekend, a former chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and Ekwusigo Local Government Area Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Dr Jude Emecheta, described the appointment as well-deserved.

Emecheta said Metuh’s experience and understanding of Nigeria’s political landscape position him to effectively drive the group’s mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He noted that the appointment is expected to strengthen the movement’s outreach and coordination across different levels.

Metuh, who hails from Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State, has remained active in national politics over the years.

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors said his emergence would enhance its organisational capacity and provide strategic direction for its activities.

Emecheta urged members of the group to support Metuh in advancing the vision of the movement.
