  • Dare: platform aggregates policy updates, enables real-time citizen engagement

The launch of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) digital platform is a major step towards enriching and deepening the communication of governance strides under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The RHA Director-General/National Coordinator, Hope Uzodimma, stated this at the formal unveiling of the organisation’s website and other digital assets at its Abuja headquarters at the weekend.

A statement yesterday in Abuja by RHA’s Director of Media and Publicity, Tunde Rahman, said Uzodimma, who is also the Imo State governor, noted that the platform was conceived as a strategic response to the growing challenge of misinformation.

The RHA national coordinator noted that it would provide Nigerians with credible, structured, and timely information on government policies and reforms.

Headlining the rollout is the official website, www.rhambassadors.org, designed as an aggregator platform that consolidates policy explainers, reform updates, and verified government information into a single, accessible hub.  The platform is also supported by an integrated network of social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, X, and other digital applications to ensure broad reach and real-time engagement.

Uzodimma said the unveiling marked a significant step in strengthening civic education and public engagement around the policies, reforms, and achievements of the Tinubu administration.

The national coordinator said the initiative simplifies complex policy information while enhancing transparency.

He highlighted the role of the Data Communication Centre (DCC), an offsite, AI-powered facility that will drive intelligence gathering, sentiment tracking, and structured feedback, while also countering misinformation.

According to him, the integration enables a two-way communication system that captures citizen feedback and improves the clarity, consistency, and responsiveness of public messaging.

“This is not just a website; it is a dynamic, living platform—an aggregator of verified information, policy direction, and measurable progress,” he said.

Uzodimma explained that it features an updateable dashboard with real-time access to key economic metrics and performance indicators.

The national coordinator said the platform translates complex government activities, from macroeconomic stability and revenue growth to infrastructure delivery and social investment outcomes, into clear and accessible insights for Nigerians.

Answering questions on the effects of fake news on society, the governor said the RHA would deploy its digital ecosystem to counter misinformation and foster a more informed national conversation.

“Beyond transparency, this platform is designed as a tool for engagement. It creates a direct interface between government and citizens, allowing for feedback, participation, and a more informed national conversation around policy and development priorities,” he said.

The event was attended by the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Atiku Bagudu, alongside RHA directors and coordinators, including Chief Olisa Metuh, Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Senator Sani Musa, Dr. Nnamdi Maurice Mbaeri, Hajiya Bilikisu Mohammed Kaika, and Mr. Tunde Rahman.

In a presentation by the Directorate of Digital and New Media, led by Sunday Dare, the platform was described as user-friendly, content-specific, infographic-driven, and data-oriented, with the capacity to aggregate and disseminate information across multiple channels.
