The Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area, Lagos, Dr. Agbaje Lukmon, has said the council will join others across the state to observe the Monthly Environmental Sanitation Exercise.

He told the residents of Ayobo-Ipaja that the exercise will kick off on Saturday, between 6:30am and 8:30am.

According to him, the initiative is aimed at promoting a cleaner, healthier, and safer environment for all.

“A clean environment helps prevent the spread of diseases, reduces flooding by ensuring free-flowing drainages, and enhances the overall wellbeing and appearance of our communities,” he said.

Agbaje said he is committed to environmental cleanliness and the wellbeing of all residents, which is why this exercise is strongly encouraged across the LCDA.

“Let us all take responsibility by ensuring a cleaner environment. Together, we can build a healthier and more sustainable community,” he said.
