Roland Igbadumhe, popularly known as “Youngest Old Man,” has congratulated Engr. Lawrence Okah on his re-election as Secretary of the All Progressives Congress in Edo State, describing the outcome as a boost for party unity and continuity.
Igbadumhe, a comedian, entertainer and politician from the state, commended Okah’s leadership and commitment to strengthening the party’s structure across Edo.
Okah secured a second term after delegates from the 192 wards of the state overwhelmingly endorsed the executive members during the APC State Congress held at the Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub in Benin City. The exercise was conducted by the Chairman of the National State Congress Committee for Edo State, Hon. Kabiru Ajana.
Igbadumhe, who previously served as Senior Special Assistant on Entertainment to former governor Adams Oshiomhole, praised Okah’s dedication to the party, noting that his collaboration with the state leadership has contributed to strengthening the APC’s position in Edo State.

He specifically highlighted Okah’s strong working relationship with the party’s Chairman, Jarret Tenebe, and Deputy Chairman, Sylvester Aigboboh, which he said has helped drive the party’s agenda in the state.
The entertainer-cum-politician also commended the leadership of Governor Monday Okpebholo, stating that the synergy between the party executives and the state government is already translating into meaningful governance and development for the people of Edo State.
According to him, the stability within the party’s leadership will further strengthen efforts to deliver the dividends of democracy to citizens.
Igbadumhe, who rose to prominence in the entertainment industry through performances at major comedy shows such as Night of a Thousand Laughs, AY Live in London, and Crack Ya Ribs, has remained an active voice in Edo politics.
He further praised Okah for ensuring that the party is run in the state in line with constitutional provisions, noting that his leadership has kept “the oil of the party machinery running smoothly” in Edo.
