Nollywood actress Ronke Odusanya has been appointed a Senior Deaconess in her church, describing the role as a sacred responsibility that calls for humility, faithfulness, and service.

The actress announced the development via her Instagram page, where she expressed gratitude for the opportunity and reaffirmed her commitment to a life that reflects Christian values. 

She noted that the appointment represents both God’s grace and the trust placed in her to serve and support the spiritual growth of others.

According to her, the new role is not merely a title but a call to deeper responsibility within the church. She pledged to lead by example, work collaboratively with other members, and contribute meaningfully to advancing the church’s mission.

The actress further appreciated friends, colleagues, and well-wishers who celebrated the milestone with her, noting that their support strengthens her resolve. She added that she is relying on divine guidance as she steps into the new position.

“I am trusting God for wisdom, strength, and guidance in this new role,” she said, reaffirming her dedication to serving with integrity and devotion.

She wrote, “I am deeply grateful to God for the privilege of being appointed as a Senior Deaconess in His vineyard. This new responsibility is not just a title; it is a sacred call to serve with humility, faithfulness, and unwavering dedication. It is a reminder of God’s grace and the trust He places in me to support the growth of His church and care for His people.

"As I step into this role, I am committed to living a life that reflects Christ, leading by example, and working in unity with others to advance the Lord’s work. I embrace this opportunity with a willing heart, trusting God for wisdom, strength, and guidance in every step.
