Actress Rosy Meurer has expressed her deep love and devotion to her husband, Olakunle Churchill, stating that she could take a bullet for him.

In an interview, Meurer shared that Churchill has been supportive and consistently present in her life, and she values the care and affection he shows her over material gifts.

The Gambia-born actress described her love for Churchill as intense, saying she was deeply attached to him even before they started a family together.

She dismissed claims that she prioritised her husband above everyone else, explaining that she simply loves him because he treats her well.

She said, “Oh, yes, and we love each other. Yes, me, I love Churchill. I love Churchill because I can take a bullet for him. At least he has proven to me he’s been by my side all this while. He has never abandoned me in any way. He has always come through for me. He’s the father of my kids. He has not betrayed me. He has not offended me. We have not fought to an extent where we are throwing blows or anything. So why won’t I take a bullet for the father of my kids?

“Before I even started having kids with him, I was very in love with him. Madly in love. It got to a point that you can’t even tell me at home what to do. Once Churchill comes, when Churchill says something, it’s final. I don’t care what anyone says. They will still tell me, ‘When it is Churchill, you worship him.’ I don’t worship him, I just love him.

“He treats me well. You would love who treats you well. Me, I don’t demand much. If you just show me small love like this, that’s it. It doesn’t even have to do with money. You don’t even have to buy me gifts. Just sweet talk me, tell me sweet things, you have got me, and that’s just it. If you add gifts, it’s bonus. But I will never complain that this person didn’t buy for me or that my eyes are outside. And he knows this about me.”

The actress's comments come amid speculation about her relationship with Churchill, who was previously married to Tonto Dikeh.

Meurer has faced criticism for her 'role' in the breakdown of Dikeh's marriage, which she eventually denied, maintaining that her love for Churchill is genuine and not driven by a desire for material gain.
