Actor Rotimi Salami has spoken about the death of his friend and colleague, Allwell Ademola, attributing her passing to timing.

Salami made the remarks during an interview on the Oyinmomo TV programme, where he explained that cardiac arrest can occur unexpectedly and affect anyone regardless of health precautions.

According to him, the late actress, who was asthmatic, paid close attention to her health.

“I believe it was just her time. It’s simple – cardiac arrest can happen to anyone. Most people know she’s asthmatic, but she doesn’t joke with her health,” he said.

Ademola’s death was confirmed by colleagues on social media on December 27, after which a service of songs and burial ceremony were held in January.

Friends and colleagues in the film industry later paid tribute to the late actress, celebrating her contributions and legacy.
