The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Employment, Labour, and Productivity, Senator Diket Plang, has joined millions of Nigerians in celebrating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 74th birthday, describing him as an enigmatic leader, a trusted democrat, and a rare gift to humanity.

In a statement, Senator Plang praised President Tinubu’s lifelong dedication to democratic governance, noting that his political journey has consistently inspired confidence in Nigeria’s democratic institutions.

“At 74, President Tinubu’s journey stands as a masterclass in resilience, strategic foresight, and unwavering commitment to the Nigerian project,” Senator Plang said. “Without question, he remains an ardent supporter of good administration and a true democrat, steadfast in his pursuit of constructive change.”

The Senator highlighted Tinubu’s economic reforms and leadership style, which he credited with repositioning Nigeria as Africa’s second-largest economy. He pointed to the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda as evidence of the president’s transformative vision, noting that it has delivered progress across multiple sectors and signaled Nigeria’s steady emergence from longstanding challenges.

“Your administration has brought renewed optimism, indicating that the country is progressively emerging from the woods and repositioning itself for a brighter future,” Plang added.

Beyond governance, Senator Plang emphasized Tinubu’s ability to collaborate with individuals and organizations committed to democratic ideals, underscoring his role as a unifying figure in Nigeria’s political landscape.

On behalf of his family and constituents in Plateau Central Senatorial District, Senator Plang extended heartfelt wishes to the president:

“I congratulate our leader and pray that your birthday be filled with joy and satisfaction. Once again, I wish you a very happy birthday, our dear leader and president.”

President Tinubu’s 74th birthday has drawn tributes from across the nation, reflecting his enduring influence on Nigeria’s political, economic, and social development.
