Afrobeats singer Simi has announced the birth of her second child with husband Adekunle Gold.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Simi revealed the child was born on March 10, 2026, debunking January 2026 reports of twins.

The couple, married since January 2019, welcomed their first child, Adejare, on May 30, 2020.

Simi's pregnancy was hinted at in Adekunle Gold's December 2025 music video "My Love Is The Same," featuring Simi showcasing her baby bump.

Simi stated she's now a "proud mother of 2," sharing the news with her followers.

She wrote, “+1. 3.10.26 God bless my little family #mommyof2.”
