While describing security as a shared responsibility, the aide said timely reporting of suspicious movements and cooperation with security agencies were critical in preventing threats and maintaining law and order.

Addressing community members, the retired military officer reassured residents that the state government, under the leadership of Aliyu, was fully committed to restoring lasting peace and strengthening security architecture across Sokoto State.

As part of his Sallah engagements, Usman visited the General Hospital in Gwadabawa, where he donated cash assistance to patients and their relatives, and offered prayers for their quick recovery.

According to him, the gesture reflected the importance of compassion and community support, especially during festive periods.

He further extended his condolences to the Commissioner, Home Affairs, Isa Tambagarka, over the passing of his sister, praying for the repose of her soul and for the family to have the strength to bear the loss.

Usman reaffirmed that with sustained cooperation between the government and the people, Sokoto State would continue to witness improved security, peace, and development.

He stressed the need for collective efforts to sustain peace and stability across the state.

The special adviser was accompanied by Alhaji Aminu Bello Gwadabawa, a Permanent Secretary in the State Civil Service, and Prof. Mu’azu Shamaki, as well as Alhaji Basharu Guyawa.
